Mocha-Coffee

"Nothing like a freshly brewed cup of coffee." If you ever felt this way I have great news for you! The Mocha-Coffee scrub soap is finally here!

This is the ultimate and 100% natural choice for anyone who's into natural cosmetic products, and of course, all the coffee-lovers out there. The Mocha-Coffee scrub bar is my first 100% natural soap but what does this actually mean? - you may ask.

Well, this soap DOES NOT contain any articial fragrance or colourants. When creating this bar I used freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee and its grounds and unsweetened pure Dutch cocoa powder. The combination of these two quality ingredients give the soap its colour and the remarkable but subtle coffee scent. As you can see I mimicked the coffee foam on top as well just to create a realistic coffee-experience. The foam gets its colour from the white French clay and it gives the bar a rich and creamy feel.

Why coffee and cocoa? The beans of these two have high levels of antioxidants which protect and repair the skin from damage and premature aging and offers other great benefits for you skin, such as anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. The coffee grounds give this soap a natural and gentle exfoliating quality.

With the design I tried to create a simplistic but impactful look. I love how the coffee and cocoa swirling together, kinda looks like when you start mixing your mocha-coffee with your spoon. I absolutely adore the foam and how those real (!) coffee beans sit on top. It really does remind me of a barista-made coffee.

Besides the Costa Rican coffee, the Dutch cocoa powder and the white French clay I used all natural and luxurious ingredients such as: avocado oil, macadamia nut oil, shea butter, sustainably sourced palm oil, coconut oil and olive oil. This recipe creates a hard but foamy and bubbly soap. And of course the coffee scent in the shower is guaranteed.
